2005 KAHUNA CLASSIC

It was a great day with perfect weather on a very relaxing Thanksgiving Day Weekend. Kahunas competed in the 15th Annual Kahuna Classic at the Rosehill D.G. & C.C. on Saturday, October 8th. We played a full 18 holes.

Clark McKeown won the right to wear the ceremonial red jacket for the next year.

Mark Lennox and Mark Schindler also finished strongly, followed closely by Mickey McKeown, Cas Beaton and Harry Burkman. Full Results.

The Classic ended successfully at the Firkin to watch some of the Leafs game.

The Kahunas' 27-game win streak over the last 4 Midseason tournaments ended in
this year's finals on July 17, 2005.  Disc-Horde, last year's runner-up, defeated the Kahunas 15-12 in
the 2005 finals. The Kahuna 4-peat was not to be.

Congratulations Disc-Horde.   It is always good to compete against you.

Thank you Chris Lowcock, Heather Levchuk and Ian Brooks for organizing this year's tournament.

2005 GENDER BLENDER

Our 9th.

The return of Kahunaville.

Thank you Giles, Karen and Dilhan
